On the west bank of the Nile, in the deep south of Egypt, Aswan is surrounded by many small islands and Nubian villages.
The Nubian villages are a cheerful sight, painted in bright colors and inhabited by Nubians with a population of less than 100,000 people.
They have their own Nubian languages and traditions that are distinct from those of the rest of Egypt. The Nubian Villages are a must-see attraction.
The villages are only a few minutes from Aswan’s center; you can get there by Nile small boat or felucca. It isn’t difficult at all.
If you visit the Nubian villages while on a trip to Egypt with MTG, we’ll take care of all your transfers to your desired location. While sailing to Nubia, you can take in the beautiful sunset, fresh air, and the sight of the Nile.
